In May of 2018, WChE held a 5k Fun Run fundraiser. Students and faculty of UW as well as members of the Seattle community came out to run the course, tie-dye their race shirt, and try their chances at our raffle with prizes generously donated by local businesses. All proceeds from the race went towards expenses of our UW student organization for activities like STEM outreach and professional development for our members.
