Alumni Spotlight: Katie Clasen

A slightly different update from our typically member spotlight, we would like to feature an alumna of the UW ChemE department. Katie Clasen graduated from the department 2 years ago. Now, she is an Operations Support Engineer at Shell Martinez Refinery and upholds a commitment to community and innovation. She also participates in volunteering and outreach to encourage the next generation of girls in STEM. Katie was recently featured on Shell’s website as one of the company’s inspiring women.
